SLIDEBLOCK is a combined sliding and deformation reinforced support designed for supporting reinforced concrete and metal structures in buildings. The support ensures safe sliding between reinforced concrete and/or steel elements, while reliably transferring high vertical loads.
SLIDEBLOCK consists of a reinforced elastomeric support made of CR rubber and a vulcanized PTFE sliding layer. It supports a sliding plate made of special hard plastic, which remains dimensionally stable and is always parallel to the bearing surfaces. This combination of base and sliding plate reliably ensures both the transfer of vertical loads and controlled sliding.
The maximum permissible compressive stress is 15 N/mm², and the deformation under maximum vertical loads does not exceed ~20%. The sliding range is determined by the shape and length of the designed sliding plate, so the system can be adapted to almost any structural requirements.
