Product information
SLIDELINE is an elastomeric linear sliding support designed for the safe sliding of reinforced concrete, metal, and wooden structural elements (columns, beams, slabs, etc.) under high compressive loads. The support compensates for thermal and other displacements while reliably transferring vertical loads.
The core of SLIDELINE consists of an elastomeric block made of synthetic EPDM rubber, with a sliding layer of special silicone grease on its surface. The entire support is covered with a continuous elastomer shell, which protects the sliding zone from moisture, dirt, and mechanical damage, ensuring stable operation of the support throughout its entire service life.
The elastomeric core, together with the outer shell, absorbs vertical loads and acts as a sliding medium reservoir. The silicone grease, which is also used in bridge bearings, ensures very low starting friction and a constant friction coefficient of approximately μ ≈ 0.10. The possible sliding displacement in the direction perpendicular to the support axis is up to ±25 mm, and in the parallel direction – up to ±15 mm. At the maximum permissible vertical load, the deformation (compression) of the support does not exceed 25% of its height.
Areas of application:
- Supports for prefabricated and monolithic reinforced concrete structures;
- Supports for metal structures;
- Supports for wooden structures;
- Supports for other structures.
Dimensions
The strips are 60 mm wide. Length up to 25 meters.
